Oversaw all Contract Management functions on behalf of the State. Supported operational readiness and commercial governance for a major PPP correctional facilities, including performance regime design and stakeholder alignment. Additionally, performed as Contractor representative in operational PPPs when working in the private sector.
Provided contract operational and commercial guidance for multi‑billion‑dollar hospital PPPs, including performance regimes, modifications, risk allocation and operational integration.
Advised Departments and suppliers on procurements and delivery strategies. Developed governance frameworks, obligations registers and capability uplift tools for a central agency overseeing outsourced service delivery
Our work is informed by more than 20 years of senior executive leadership across Justice, Corrections, Health and major infrastructure portfolios. Founder & Director Ian Robb has led the contract management function on Australia’s two largest social infrastructure PPP portfolios, overseeing multi‑billion‑dollar health and justice arrangements and the operators who deliver these services.
Ian has overseen some of Australia’s most complex PPP and outsourced service arrangements, leading contract transitions, commercial negotiations, operational readiness programs and governance uplift initiatives that directly shaped service continuity, public value and operational performance.
In addition to leading contract management functions, Ian has held senior operational leadership roles, including General Manager of a major correctional facility, Head of Operations for a PPP prison, and senior security and investigations roles across both public and private sectors. This combination of front‑line operational leadership and system‑level contract stewardship gives Robb Contract Management Advisory a uniquely practical, grounded perspective.
